Starting January 01, 2016 Bill 6 became mandatory in Alberta. This means that all farms in Alberta that hire personnel must abide by Workers Compensation Board (WCB) regulations and Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) regulations. Under OH&S regulations section 32 of the "ACT" stipulates that all employers have written health and safety policies developed and implemented.
